To continue and to expand the cooperation between Russia and Chile representatives of Institute of Public Health of Chile (ISP) visited vaccine production site in Krasnoe Selo.
During the second visit to Russia Dr. Pablo Ortiz Diaz, Chief of Administration and Finances of ISP and Dr. Alejandro Salinas, Chief of department of International Relations and Cooperation, had an excursion at the production site of the Institute of vaccines and serums.
Guests were interested in the stages of the production process of the vaccines, the quality control steps, as well as the production capacity of the plant. They appreciated very mush the level of the organization of the production and the system of the quality control according to world standards of GMP. During the negociaciones were discussed not only the influenza vaccine, but also the whole pipeline of the immunobiological products of the Institute of vaccines and serums and potential interest to these preparations, which exists in Republic of Chile and in the region of Latin America.
A day before that, in Moscow, Dr. Pablo Ortiz Diaz and Director of Federal Medico-Biological Agency (FMBA of Russia) Dr. Vladimir Uiba signed Cooperation Agreement between FMBA of Russia and ISP of Chile. This Agreement is destined to promote the Russian pharmaceutical production in the Chilean market. On the other side, Republic of Chile can be the link between Russian manufacturers and Latin American market.
The Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Chile has fourth – the highest – accreditation.level of the national regulator following the WHO classification. ISP deals with the regulation and control of medicines, from the approval.of registration of preclinical trials, provision of product registration, inspection and.licensing of manufacturers and distributors, post marketing surveillance, pharmacovigilance.to product quality management and batch production of vaccines. These aspects are very important for the Russian part, because of the MECHNIKOV project in Nicaragua.
