On the day of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums of the FMBA of Russia, the director of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) sent a greeting video in which she wished the Institute to continue active work on achieving universal immunization of the population of the Americas:
“Today, during the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Institute of Vaccines and Serums of St. Petersburg, I want to send you a message of congratulations on the achievements of the Institute during your auspicious history. Without such a commitment to public health and in particular in ensuring access to quality vaccines, we cannot achieve the ambitious goal of universal health for all. The Pan American Health Organization has had the good fortune to support the project of the transfer of technology of the influence vaccine in Nicaragua. That process has allowed us to learn from each other, to join our capacities and to innovate to create the first innovation pact for technology in Central America. Building on that successful collaboration, we look forward to join our efforts to improve universal access to quality and affordable vaccines in the Americas. Congratulations! Spasibo!”
